HOW COVID-19 AFFECTS COMEDY
Since the COVID-19 virus popped on the scene live entertainment has taken a major blow. Comedy has taken the punch and has had difficulty delivering the punchline back. Entertainers in every country are affected. But are they all affected the same way? Today I get to speak with folks from six different countries to see how COVID-19 has directly impacted them. I share a little from my perspective here in the USA as we talk.
All the folks on the show have either taken a course from the SCHOOL OF LAUGHS, or I met through the podcast. The only exception is our first guest. My friend Miggy lives in China about nine hours east of the Wuhan wet markets where this all started. Mig was a comedian at the very first show I ever did. We were later roommates. He’s always been the smartest guy I know and is now a teacher in China.
In all we cover over 32 thousand miles / or nearly 52 thousand kilometers on the podcast today!
