This podcast is 100% geared toward the aspiring comedian, part time pro, or any speaker who wants to be funnier on the platform.
Our mission is to provide honest, insightful information. I’ll share what has and hasn’t worked over my 26+ years in the comedy business. When I get off track or start using too much lingo, my producer and sidekick Gavin Miller will slow me down and get me back on track. Gavin is less than 23 weeks into learning stand-up at the recording of this first episode.
Sometimes we will be in the School Of Laughs classroom (Zanies Comedy Showplace in Nashville, TN) answering questions from students after a class. Other times Gavin and I will be at the headquarters answering listener’s questions. And occasionally I’ll take the microphones on the road and record my friends and co-horts in the word of comedy.
Every episode, however, is focused on shining some light on the road ahead in your journey through the dark tunnels and poorly lit green rooms of stand-up comedy.
